Pandemic self-care
Today’s link is from The Washington Post Magazine.
Why I think it’s worth sharing: You know how on airplane flights (remember airplane flights?) you’re always told to put on your oxygen mask first, because you can’t help anyone else if you pass out?
Well, if you don’t take care of yourself during this pandemic, you won’t be of any use to your loved ones, and in fact may become a burden to them. Yikes.
I’ve seen many pandemic self-care lists by now, but this one spoke to me because it offered a few fresh ideas that really fit in with where we are now.
And if anyone wants to try the crochet idea, I’ve got plenty of hooks and yarn.
Here’s the story, by Matt Fuchs, Amanda McCracken, Lorne David Opler, Lindsey M. Roberts, Cara Rosenbloom and Margaret Wertheim.
